European Business Development Associate (inside sales)

invivodata, inc., a rapidly growing company, applies handheld technology & behavioral science to electronic patient reported outcomes solutions to support the collection of data directly from patients in clinical research.  

We are currently in search of a Business Development Associate for our European region.

Increasing new business

  • Strategize with sales account teams to identify, qualify, and progress account-specific business opportunities
  • Develop prospective customer contacts through outbound sales prospecting calls, referrals, event attendance followup, and other marketing campaign activities
  • Maintain appropriate follow up with contacts (emails, info packets, repeat phone calls, etc.)
  • Develop knowledge and expertise in clinical trials industry and benefits of applying unique solution provided by invivodata.

Maintaining Customer Relationship Management Database

  • Add and update opportunities as they move through the sales cycle
  • Add and update account/contact information as necessary
  • Document all planned and completed tasks
  • Manage email and mailing lists
  • Run weekly and ad hoc sales management reports

Other

  • Support sales account teams in business-generating efforts, as needed
  • Support marketing efforts, including driving attendance to company-sponsored events
  • Maintain stock of printed sales collaterals and corporate info. Packets; Package and ship to Sales team members, accounts, etc., as needed
  • Regularly conduct market research by scanning Web and published literature for upcoming clinical trials
  • Create opportunities in sales database and assign follow up tasks
  • Possibility to represent invivodata at national trade shows
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Trained in all aspects of the sales process
  • Experience in/knowledge of pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education:

  • B.S. in a scientific or business-related field

Experience:

  • 3-5 years progressive sales experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical-related industry
