Clinical Systems Software Developer

Responsibilities:

Project Configuration:

  • Design, implement, and unit test software related to study-specific implementations of solutions as defined in functional design specifications.
  • Create and maintain design documentation in support of our projects application development.
  • Work with the QC department to assist in the formal validation of study-specific implementations.
  • Participate in code reviews with other personnel.
  • Work with the deployment team to build software packages that are deployed in customer Training, User Acceptance Testing, and Production.
  • Assist Product Development personnel in the development, testing and implementation of applications released from Product Development as needed.
  • Drive internal software development efforts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in software development or other relevant experience
  • Highly organized
  • Must be able to drive for results in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work on more than one project at once

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience developing applications using Perl or C++ preferred.
  • Hand-on experience with MS-SQL required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Foreign language skills a plus.
