Software Developer

invivodata, inc. is improving the way clinical trial sponsors collect critical data during new drug and medical device clinical studies.  Our proven electronic patient diary solutions combine hand-held and Web-based technology to capture the most accurate data directly from trial subjects in the real world and in real time.  As a result, more and more trial sponsors are relying on invivodata to capture the critical data they need to determine their products’ effectiveness, while reducing over all drug development times and costs. 

invivodata, inc. is currently seeking candidates for a full-time product development software developer.

Responsibilities:

Project Configuration:

  • Design, implement, and unit test software applications as defined in project user requirements specifications.
  • Create and maintain design documentation in support of our projects application development.
  • Work with the QC department to assist in the formal validation of our project software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews with other personnel.

Other Duties:

  • Assist Product Development personnel in the development, testing and implementation of applications released from Product Development as needed.
  • Support internal software development efforts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Desired languages (C#, C++, .Net, SQL, Java)
  • Good grasp of OO design and data structures
  •  Ability to work with a team of both technical and non-technical people
  • Good problem solver
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and be able to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Must be detail oriented and quality minded

Skills:

  • Hands-on experience developing applications using Perl or C++ preferred.
  • Hand-on experience with MS-SQL required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Foreign language skills a plus.
